| Please go to the group page for which you are assigned. Simply click the EasyEdit button to start writing or editing. To get full points for this project you must a) make at least one meaningful new contribution (at least a 100 word addition, with one new reference) to the page you are assigned. b) make at least one meaningful edit (a significant revision to previous content or adding a new reference to previous content). c) make at least one helpful contribution to the discussion threads. In addition to these 3 items for your group page you are free to join discussions on other pages but you must NOT add or edit on a different group's page. Basic rules for the Wiki 1. Before adding anything, create a profile with a name for yourself that is easy to identify (e.g. DonMiller or Don.Miller). Be sure your profile user preferences do NOT check off any options for hiding your information, or I will have no easy way to track your contributions! 2. To add a reference, use the link tool in EasyEdit to enter the generic book or journal citation (e.g. Am J Health-Syst Pharm 2008;56:89-97) and then hot link it to a URL. 3. Be courteous in making edits and using discussion threads! Anyone making inappropriate edits or comments may have points deducted for the assignment. 4. Use the Wiki page for developing content; and use discussion threads to make comments to others within your group (or other groups) to explain what you did, ask for help with something, suggest additional topics, etc.). 5. Your topic page must end with an overall conclusion and recommendations for practice. All team members are responsible for assuring the final quality of the page. Some tips and suggestions for easy use of the Wiki 1. You may want to use headings and subheadings to organize your page and make it easy to read. 2. Invite your friends to see your work. The page should be visible to anyone, but only class members have permission to write and edit. 3. Feel free to add photos, videos, or anything to dress up your page and make it look exciting. WetPaint gives you lots of possibilities. | |
